Your personal data stays strictly on your device. We believe utility software should respect user confidentiality.
Zero Server Ingestion
When you generate a QR code for WiFi, business contacts, or confidential links, that data is processed entirely in your web browser through client-side JavaScript. It is never sent to or stored on our servers.
No Content Tracking or Profiling
We do not log URLs, scan counts, phone numbers, email addresses, or coordinates. Your QR codes contain direct standard payloads, not tracking redirect URLs.
Local Storage Only
Your QR generation history is stored purely in your browser’s localStorage. You have total control: you can delete any single item or wipe your entire history with one click.
Logo & Image Safety
When you upload an image or company logo to center in your QR, the file is converted to a base64 canvas stream in memory. No files are uploaded to any external S3 bucket, Cloudflare, or remote server.
1. Data We Do NOT Collect
QR Studio does not collect, monitor, sell, or monetize:
- URLs and website addresses entered into the generator
- WiFi SSIDs and network passwords
- UPI payment IDs and payee names
- vCard contact cards, full names, and addresses
- WhatsApp phone numbers and message drafts
- Calendar events, summaries, and dates
- Uploaded logos, avatars, and images
2. Dynamic vs. Static Redirects
Many commercial QR generator services generate "dynamic" codes that secretly redirect your users through their servers to track clicks and force users onto monthly paid subscriptions. If they shut down, your QR codes break forever.
QR Studio generates pure, static, direct QR codes. Once created, your code points straight to your destination and will work permanently, forever, with zero reliance on our service.
3. Browser LocalStorage
When you generate a code and click Download or Copy, a lightweight receipt is saved into your browser's HTML5 localStorage. This data never leaves your computer or phone. You can clear it anytime from the Generator workspace.
